The deadline is looming for local artists interested in creating a piece of public art to adorn the grounds of the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance.
The call was put out in mid-May to have two outdoor art pieces created for the hospitals in Chatham and Wallaceburg.
CKHA is accepting submissions from any individual artist or group of artists living in Canada. All submissions will be reviewed by a selection committee comprised of CKHA leadership, patient advisors and staff.
The successful applicants will receive $10,000 for each art piece, with funds provided by CKHA and the Municipality of Chatham-Kent.
The deadline to apply is 4pm Friday afternoon.
