The LCBO is looking to open as many as 200 outlet stores open by next spring, and several Chatham-Kent communities have been given the green light to apply.

The Liquor Control Board of Ontario announced the opening up of the Request for Proposal process for “Convenience Outlets”, with Cedar Springs, Dealtown, Morpeth, and Shrewsbury making the cut.

It’s part of the province’s plan to give more choice and convenience for consumers, first announced back in June.

Interested retailers can find out more about the application process online.
