A Chatham resident is facing charges in connection with a crash in Leamington.
OPP officers responded to a single vehicle collision on Talbot Road East near Mersea Road 21 shortly before 7 o’clock Sunday morning.
Authorities say the driver suffered non-life threatening injuries.
The 43-year-old has since been charged with operation while impaired, operation with a blood alcohol level over the legal limit, dangerous operation, and driving with a hand-held communication device.
The accused was also issued a 90 day license suspension and had his vehicle impounded for seven days.
The man was released from custody with a date in the Ontario Court of Justice in Windsor next month.
