A local business is stepping up to help the Wallaceburg Legion.
During a gas meter install, Union Gas technicians stated the organization needed a roof access ladder.
That’s where Lee Vanlandeghem of Bartech Rigging and Machinery Movers Inc. stepped in. “We didn’t think it would be any problem to fabricate and install the ladder,” says Vanlandeghem. “We like coming to the legion events and we strongly believe in all the legions. We thought that this would be our part.”
Bartech didn’t charge for the work which would normally run into the thousands of dollars range.
