Lev Tahor Decision Coming Wednesday

A Superior Court Judge has denied the Lev Tahor an adjournment in their ongoing case with CAS.   Superior Court Justice Lynda Templeton has ruled against Lev Tahor’s request for an adjournment calling the case a “procedural nightmare” but notes the court must move forward “cautiously and as quickly as possible” to determine whether the children should be reunited with their parents.  Chatham-Kent Children’s Services Lawyer Loree Hodgson-Harris says the “hasty move in the middle of the night speaks volumes.”  No criminal charges have been laid against the Lev Tahor.  Six members remain in Guatemala, where they are reportedly seeking refugee status
