The local library is offering a financial literacy seminar on how retirees or those close to retirement can maximize the next chapter of their lives.
The Chatham-Kent Public Library is holding the free seminar at the Chatham Branch on Saturday, October 3 at 1 p.m., in partnership with Shauna Tremblay, a life and health insurance advisor at Desjardins Financial Security.
The seminar will discuss information on pensions and investments, provide practical tools to secure wealth, and explain how best to avoid common financial pitfalls.
