A donation in memory of lost loved ones is helping support the Chatham-Kent Public Library.
Members of Holy Trinity/St Paul’s Anglican Church in Chatham are remembering their fellow parishioners who have passed away by donating over $1900 from a Lenten fundraiser to the library’s Literary Angels program.
CKPL accepts donations from patrons to purchase library materials in honour of others.
Each book purchased with the donated money from Holy Trinity/St Paul’s Anglican Church members will contain a book plate in memory of past parishioners.
Materials to be purchased with the funds include children’s, teens, and adult books including both fiction and non-fiction.
