The Lambton Kent District School Board is breathing new life into John N Given School.
Students from John N Given were consolidated with Tecumseh and McNaughton Avenue Public Schools in Chatham this fall.
“We look forward to its new purpose as a unique learning centre,” Director of Education Jim Costello says, “which brings together a diversity of educators and learners, as well as community partners.”
The board then repurposed the Given building for its adult and continuing education program, and alternate special education programs
Trustees have now approved changing the name of the facility to the John N Given Learning Centre.
