The Lambton Kent District school board has released its Strategic Priorities for the next few years.
It’s called Fostering Success For Every Student Every Day.
Among the main items, focusing on student achievement and well-being while advancing high standards for innovative and responsive learning, including diversity by championing anti-oppressive education, and strengthening relationships based on respective collaboration.
“As we move forward with the implementation and in the interest of transparency, LKDSB Senior Administration has set specific operational goals in alignment with the four strategic priorities to hold ourselves, our staff and school communities accountable to these priorities,” says Director John Howitt. “Some of these goals are multi-year and throughout we remain committed to working to support student achievement and well-being; inclusive diversity; sustainable stewardship and trusting relationships.”
The focus of the next several years will be to build on these priorities providing updates as they look to attain certain benchmarks.
These were set with input from the entire community including parents and guardians, students, staff, and administration.
