Some quick thinking by a Chatham-Kent OPP officer diffused what could have been a very dangerous situation.
The officer was eastbound on the 401 around noon Saturday when he saw a flatbed trailer come loose from a westbound pickup.
The officer used his car to bring the errant trailer to a stop.
Charges against the pick-up driver are expected.
