The Chatham-Kent Arts and Culture Network is gearing up for its first local art tour.
Local art lovers can take themselves on a self-guided tour of over a dozen studios and workspaces across Chatham-Kent.
The juried collection showcases work from multiple mediums from traditional painting and pottery to sculpture and glasswork.
Organizers say the event aims to build ties between the community’s creative minds and those interested in the arts, and provides an intimate look behind the artists’ process.
The studio tour runs May 6th and 7th, 10am to 4pm each day.
Organizers hope the tour will become an annual event.
