Local historian and author Bryan Prince is officially unveiling his newest book this afternoon.
His latest work is a twist on his previous stories, with “My Brother’s Keeper” focusing on free men returning to the United States to fight in the civil war.
Prince will read from the book and will sign copies this afternoon at the Buxton National Historic Site and Museum.
The event runs from 2-4pm and coincides with the kick-off of black history month.
