MEET SHANYA LYNN…

Armed with an incredible voice, extraordinary songwriting skills and unquestionable charisma, Canadian country star Shanya Lynn Dawson is a driving force of musical talent! Proving her ability all over the nation from an early age, Shanya Lynn is no stranger to performing! What some may not know of this hardworking singer-songwriter, is that Shanya enjoyed a successful early career in television and film! Playing the long standing character Natalie on the ABC Family Channel series, Katts and Dog, Shanya Lynn quickly became a recognized household face. With subsequent starring roles on popular television shows: Top Cops, Forever Knight, The Bionic Man, and T and T – to name a few, Shanya is still adored by fans around the world for her leading role as ‘The Dream Girl’ on Family Channel’s most played episode of Are you Afraid of the Dark. The Tale of the Dream Girl, according to M.Night Shyamalan, was the inspiration to the creation of the movie The Sixth Sense (1999). Shanya also performed in several music videos and commercials: Kodak, Chrysler, McKean’s, Bold Hold, McDonalds, Wunderbar, and more.

Shanya Lynn’s smooth transition from once applauded as “Canada’s Girl Next Door Commercial Smile” to “Wild Hearted Country Singer” was no surprise to those that knew her best. From a musical family, Shanya began singing alongside her parents’ country band at the age of six, and has now toured all over North America! During Shanya Lynn’s musical career, this sassy B.C. raised-now Ontarian beauty has become renowned for her high-octane, kick ass performances!
