A Chatham woman is facing charges in connection to a fraud investigation.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers responded to a business in Chatham on Tuesday at around 9 p.m., after a woman was seen acting suspiciously.
Authorities identified the woman as a suspect in an ongoing fraud investigation and she was arrested.
The 38-year-old accused from Chatham is now charged with fraud and failing to comply with a release order. She was held in custody for a bail hearing.
