Locally Produced Audio Drama Earns High Praise

High praise for a locally-produced audio drama.

Kat Johnson, editor with audio book streaming service Audible, has chosen The Secret Garden, produced by Chatham-based Voices in the Wind Audio Theatre and First Noelle Productions of Huntsville as one of the best 20 classic audio dramas of all time.

The production was adapted for audio by Diane Vanden Hoven of London and directed by George Zarr of Chicago, with all mixing, mastering, and post-production by Chatham’s David Farquhar.

Georgia Lee Schultz of St. Catharines played the lead role of Mary Lennox. The other cast members include Barbara Rosenblat (New York City), Michael Crouch (New York City), John Jarvis (Toronto), Liam Wignall (Toronto), Laura Van Veen (Chatham), Keith Burnett (Chatham), Bill Craven (Chatham), Noelle Dupuis (Huntsville), Jan Holt (Sarnia) Pete Lutz (Texas), John Bell (Alabama), Ellen Wallin (Chicago).

Farquar says he and co-producer Noelle Dupuis are honoured by the recognition and grateful for the opportunity to work with such a talented cast of actors and an accomplished production team.
