Lambton OPP are reminding citizens to keep any valuables hidden in your vehicle.
Authorities say would-be thieves will likely be targeting busy parking lots over the next few weeks as residents are busy with Christmas shopping.
A few tips to keep in mind: never carry or display large amounts of cash when checking out or at the bank machine, never leave your purse or wallet unattended in a shopping cart, keep valuables hidden or locked in your trunk, and always double-check to make sure your vehicle is locked.
