With the long weekend comes the usual slate of service changes and closures.
Government offices will be shut down on Monday in honour of Victoria Day. There will be no garbage or recycling collection Monday, and pick-ups for the rest of the week will be pushed back a day. CK Transit will not be operating on the holiday Monday, and the leaf and yard depots will be shut down.
The Chatham-Kent Health Alliance will also be running on a holiday schedule with no outpatient diagnostic tests, ambulatory care, or other clinic services.
A number of labs and clinics at the Health Alliance will be closed on Monday with ambulatory care, the mental health and addictions program, and oncology department shut down. However, hemodialysis will still be offered.
Emergency departments in Chatham and Wallaceburg remain open 24/7 and the COVID-19 assessment centre at the Healthplex will be running as usual.
