Come this time next week, the Lord Selkirk Bridge will be open.
On November 13th, the bridge is set to open to traffic, as well as one side for pedestrians.
Painting, welding and clean-up will happen between then and now.
And after the bridge opens, a section of James Street will be closed west of McNaughton as equipment is removed.
Bridge balancing and testing will be completed and some mechanical and electrical work still needs to be done.
The span has been closed for almost ten months.
