Work begins today on a sewer reconstruction project in Wallaceburg.
Lorne Avenue will be shut down between Dufferin and Elizabeth for the next month and half as part of the $155,000 project.
Work being done includes sanitary and storm sewers, watermains, and reconstruction of the road, curbs, driveway approaches, and sidewalks.
Municipal officials say while the majority of work should be done by November, final asphalt and restoration is expected next spring.
