The Sydenham River is expected to be high over the next few days, but no major flooding is expected.
The St. Clair Region Conservation Authority has issued a water safety statement saying that the nearly 50mm or 2″ of rain on Thursday has pushed the river to the top of its banks.
Clear weather is expected to ease the risk of flooding over the next few days but water levels in all the creeks and streams is expected to remain elevated.
