A Wallaceburg man is one step closer to claiming a lottery windfall.
In a news release, the OLG says Thomas Park won $100,000 playing an instant scratch ticket, but since his mother is an employee at an OLG retail location, the agency considers that an “insider win.”
A third-party investigation has now been completed in partnership with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.
In order to complete the claim, the money must now be held for 30 days and if there are no other claims, the prize money can be doled out at the end of the month.
