Lowe’s/Rona Supporting Local Agencies

$3811.50 has been raised at the Wallaceburg Rona store to support the Salvation Army.

A hardware chain is helping to support non-profit groups across the country, including several in southwestern Ontario.

The Lowe’s Canada Heroes campaign ran through the month of September, with customers at Lowe’s and Rona making donations to causes selected by their local store, and the company matching donations by 50%.

At the Wallaceburg Rona store, $3811.50 was raised for the Salvation Army, while almost $3393 was collected at the Chatham Rona in support of the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation.

In all, more than $1.5 million will be distributed to more than 235 partner organizations across Canada.
