The Lower Thames Valley Conservation Authority’s 2020 Budget is expected to be approved at today’s AGM in Ridgetown.
The total budget climbs to $3.3-million, up about $90,000.
Municipalities are on the hook for about $30,000 of the increase, which equates to an increase of about 1.3% for Chatham-Kent.
The two biggest changes in the budget are in increase in phosphorus reduction and species at risk money due to new grant funding, and a conservation area decrease due to not replacing a retiring staff member.
