A domestic incident between a man and a woman has ended with injuries and charges.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers were called to a disturbance at a residence in Chatham shortly before midnight on Friday.
Authorities arrived to find a man and a woman suffering from visible injuries, however, medical attention was not required.
The two were both arrested at the scene following an investigation.
A 27-year-old Chatham-Kent man and a 32-year-old Chatham woman are now charged with one count of assault each. The woman was later released with a future court date, while the man was held in custody for a bail hearing.
