A Chatham-Kent man will have to answer to a judge after he allegedly relieved himself on the floor of a restaurant, in full view of patrons.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers responded to a disturbance at a restaurant on Third Street in Chatham at around 10:20 a.m. on Thursday.
Police then learned that a man had walked into the business and exposed himself before urinating on the floor.
A suspect was located and a 54-year-old Chatham-Kent man was arrested. He was later released with a court date and conditions prohibiting him from returning to the restaurant.
However, officers were called back to the restaurant again at around 5:15 p.m. after the man allegedly returned.
The accused is now charged with committing an indecent act and failing to comply with an undertaking. He was held in custody for a bail hearing.
