A local man has been charged following a false alarm at Chatham-Kent’s hospital.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers were contacted after a man pulled the fire alarm at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Grand Avenue West in Chatham, at around 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
Authorities have not released how officers identified a suspect, but police arrested a 52-year-old Chatham-Kent man in connection with the incident.
He has been charged with mischief and will answer the charge in court in August.
