Police are investigating after a man was injured during an assault near downtown Chatham
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers responded to the intersection of King Street East and Princess Street at around 4 p.m. on January 6, to assist EMS.
A man who had been assaulted was located in the area with unspecified injuries. He was taken to hospital by paramedics, where he remains receiving medical care.
