Man Stabbed in Chatham

A seemingly unprovoked attack has left a man in his mid-60s with assault charges.

Chatham-Kent Police say the accused walked up to a stopped car on Grand Avenue East on Sunday, reached through the open window, and stabbed the driver.

The 46-year-old victim suffered non-life threatening injuries.

The accused, a 64-year-old man, was taken into custody yesterday.
