The local Junior B hockey club is once again doing its part in the battle against breast cancer.
The Chatham Maroons are teaming up with The Breast Buddies Dragon Boat team for Breast Cancer Awareness Night on Sunday.
During their home game against the LaSalle Vipers, the Maroons will be wearing special pink jerseys as a tribute to breast cancer survivors.
The jerseys will be autographed by the players and auctioned off after the game. Several other silent auction items have also been made available, with all proceeds supporting the Breast Buddies team.
Game time is 7 p.m. on Sunday at the Chatham Memorial Arena.
