Mrs. Mary Jean Rabideau, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2015 surrounded by her family at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Public General Campus, in Chatham, at the age of 84. Mary was born in Simcoe, Ontario and was a daughter of the late Peter and Janna (Geelhoed) Dierx. Beloved wife of the late George Rabideau (1964). Loving mother and mother-in-law of Margaret Anne (Giles) Boudreau, Dianna “Sis” Lalonde, Corrie (Grant) Dymock and George Rabideau Jr. Sadly missed by 11 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Kind sister and sister-in-law of Corrie Armitage and Murray (Rosie) Dierx. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a granddaughter Michelle Lynn Dymock, her brother and sister-in-law Jacob and Janke Dierx and a brother-in-law John Armitage.
Friends will be received at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg, on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, June 3, 2015 in the Chapel of the Funeral Home at 11 a.m. Interment to follow in Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg.
