An arrest has been made following an attempted robbery in Ridgetown.

Police responded to an active break and enter on Saturday after the business owner reported a masked man inside his store.

The suspect fled before officers arrived, but was tracked down with the help of an unmanned aerial vehicle equipped with thermal vision.

The 43-year-old is charged with break and enter, theft, possession of stolen property and disguise with intent. Authorities say the suspect was also wanted for failing to attend court and was breaching a curfew condition from a previous bail condition.

He was held in custody for a bail hearing.
