Chatham-Kent’s mayor is praising a pair of local businesses who have developed a new partnership.
Truly Green Farms and Greenfield Global – both located on Bloomfield Road in Chatham – are sharing in a $3.7 million investment from the federal government.
Starting December 1st, Greenfield will be sending its waste heat and carbon dioxide across the street to Truly Green to boost tomato production.
Hope says this is a great partnership all around.
“We’ve brought more visitors from around the world looking at the operations here,” Hope says. “What we’re doing is stetting the stage for others, we’re actually the leaders in North America for this facility.”
The feds made the announcement yesterday at Truly Green.
