Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southwestern Ontario’s Director of Development, Jenne Wason-Benoit, says area residents can see first-hand the newest house in Windsor this coming Friday.
“Right inside Windsor Region Hospital MET Campus on the third floor there’s a public open house for our one year old Windsor Ronald McDonald house,” says Wason-Benoit. “The great thing about this house is that because it is inside the hospital we needed to make it feel like you weren’t in a hospital. As soon as you walk through the door it immediately feels like a home and completely out of the hospital.”
There are 15 Ronald McDonald Houses across Canada, including the Windsor and London locations.
One dollar from the sale of every Big Mac, Happy Meal, or McCafe drink will be donated to Ronald McDonald House and local children’s charities.
