The local public school board is seeking members for a special advisory committee to support exceptional students.
The Lambton Kent District School Board (LKDSB) is inviting local associations, organizations, and community members to apply for membership on its Special Education Advisory Committee.
The committee advises the school board on matters related to special education and makes recommendations regarding programs, services, policies, procedures, facilities, and funding that support student success.
Advisory committee members are expected to represent the interests of all exceptional students and work collaboratively to support inclusive learning opportunities
The committee serves for a four-year term, meeting monthly during the school year.
