A local men’s group is supporting those in need in Chatham-Kent.
The CK chapter of 100 Men Who Care have donated $11,200 to FreeHelpCK.
FreeHelpCK provides numerous programs to support residents across Chatham-Kent, including senior meal programs, free food pantries, and supports for students who could use a helping hand.
Since its inception in 2013, FreeHelpCK has provided over 126,000 meals to seniors, more than 18,000 items in food pantries, 3100 prom dresses, and over 7000 backpacks filled with school supplies.
The organization was chosen by the 100 Men who Care members as the charity of choice during their most recent meeting, with each member contributing $100 to the cause.
