The first annual Soup’s On fundraiser for Chatham Hope Haven is being hailed a success. 
Last month’s event saw 19 restaurants serving up soup to more than 700 supporters.
Volunteers say that although the event got off to a slow start, a “tidal wave of people” helped to raise more than $8185 for the men’s shelter.
