Mental Health Services on the Move

The Chatham-Kent Health Alliance is working on making access to mental health care easier.

Starting next month, all outpatient mental health services will be moving from the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance to 240 Grand Avenue West, which is the current location of the Canadian Mental Health Association Lambton-Kent.

CEO Lori Marshall says that mental health continues to be a growing concern, and this partnership will enable medical professionals to maintain a high quality of care, while increasing access to patients.

During the move, the Health Alliance’s Outpatient Mental Health and Addictions program will be closed Friday, March 9 and will reopen at the Grand Ave location on Monday, March 12.
