
A Michigan man will have to find a different way back across the border after his vehicle was impounded by police in Chatham-Kent.
The Ontario Provincial Police said officers stopped a vehicle for a Highway Traffic Act violation in the westbound lanes of Highway 401 near Harwich Road, at around 11:45 p.m. on Sunday.
As a result, a 26-year-old from Detroit, Michigan has been charged with stunt driving.
The accused was also issued a 30-day driver’s licence suspension and his vehicle will be impounded for 14 days.
