Chatham-Kent’s municipal airport will be a hub of aviation activity this weekend.

Saturday marks Military Heritage Day, welcoming dozens of historic military aircraft, vehicles and exhibits; various guest speakers; food vendors; a beer tent, and more.

The fly-in event will also honour the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Netherlands.

Opening ceremonies are set for 10:30, with hourly guest speakers starting at noon.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for youth, children 10 and under are free.

Proceeds from the event will be shared between the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation and the Blenheim Military Museum.
