If you’re looking to do some volunteer work, a recent food drive is asking for help.

Dava Robichaud, a logistics coordinator with the May 16th Miracle, says they need people to help sort food donations on Thursday, May 28th from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

“They can come and join us at the Thames Campus Arena and enter off Bear Line. They will see the Miracle signs outside and can enter through the zamboni entrance. We’ll give them a station to help us sort some of the boxes,” says Robichaud.

She says so far, they’ve sorted donations by like item, but further sorting is required to help them be more organized.

Volunteers are encouraged to bring masks and hand sanitizer, though both will be provided to anyone who needs it. She says sorting stations are spaced far apart to allow for social distancing.

Anyone interested in volunteering can check in with Dava on Thursday, May 28th anytime between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. at the Thames Campus Arena in Chatham.
