Proof that the Amber Alert system works. 
A five-year-old boy was reported missing from Peel Region yesterday after he didn’t show up to school.
Authorities say the child’s mother picked him up from school Wednesday and the pair hadn’t been seen since.
Peel Region Police say both the child and his mother were located in Tilbury late yesterday afternoon as a direct result of the Amber Alert.
