A recent enforcement blitz on Lake Erie and Rondeau Bay netted the Ministry of Natural Resources some pretty big offenders.
Officials say a dozen charges were laid on August 17th.
All told 18 fishermen were checked by MNR officers.
Offences ranged from fishing without a licence and over-fishing crappie and largemouth bass to more esoteric charges like fishing with an artificial light and spear fishing.
Officers also seized a boat and fishing equipment.
