More Cash Available To Help Farmers Go Online

Ontario’s Labour Minister has agriculture on his mind today.

Lambton-Kent-Middlesex MPP Monte McNaughton is promoting a joint federal provincial program aimed at enhancing a digital presence.

With so many people shopping from home these days, farmers must adapt and go online with their products.

McNaughton was talking up the Agri-Food Open For E Business Program.

So far nine businesses within Lambton-Kent-Middlesex boundaries have received money to assist with promoting everything from farmers markets to garden centers.

The initial investment in the program is 3.2 million dollars.
