Further charges have been laid against a man arrested after trying to evade police.
Chatham-Kent Police tried to stop a vehicle over the weekend and caught the 31-year-old driver hiding behind a local business a short time later.
Authorities say they’ve been looking into historical incidents involving the accused, and the Chatham man has now also been charged with two counts of failing to comply with an undertaking, two counts of criminal harassment, two counts of mischief over $5000, three counts of uttering threats, and five counts of mischief under $5000.
The accused was held for a bail hearing and remanded into custody at the Southwest Regional Detention Centre.
