Conservation officials are once again keeping close tabs on the Lake Erie shoreline.
The Lower Thames Valley Conservation Authority says strong winds with gusts up to 40 kilometres an hour are expected to continue through Wednesday, which could cause more flooding, erosion, and damage in areas like Lighthouse Cove, the Lake Erie high bluff areas, and Erie Shore Drive.
Residents are cautioned to stay away from the lakes if conditions get rough as waves can be very strong, and there could be hazardous debris being thrown from the water onto the shore.
