Another rise in Chatham-Kent’s COVID stats today with 15 new infections being repotted by Public Health.
With six cases resolved, that increases the active caseload to 109.
There are now six patients being treated for the virus at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance.
Two more school outbreaks have been declared with two cases each at St Anne Catholic School in Blenheim and Winston Churchill Public School in Chatham.
Dresden Area Central School and École élémentaire catholique Saint-Francis in Tilbury are also in outbreak mode.
Public Health officials are keeping an eye on outbreaks at two churches and two manufacturing facilities.
There have now been 3027 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 24 deaths caused by the virus in Chatham-Kent since the pandemic began.
