Authorities are keeping an eye on flooding along the Lake Erie Shoreline. 
As many as two dozen homes in Erieau have been affected by the strong waves and wind yesterday and overnight.
Officials with the LTVCA say the flooding in Erieau appears worse than that experienced last week.
Properties on the bay side are most affected, with water on the properties, around homes and on some of the roads.
However, the whole shoreline in Chatham-Kent and Elgin County will be subject to pounding waves this morning with the risk of damage to shoreline protection works, causing further erosion.
