More St Clair River Flooding Possible

We could see more flooding along the St Clair River.

Crews were out yesterday trying to break up an ice jam that had formed near Russell Island, around the Port Lambton area.

Officials with the St Clair Region Conservation Authority say high winds today and tomorrow could make the situation worse and cause minor flooding and possible shoreline erosion along the river.

Residents are reminded to avoid shorelines, watercourses and flooded areas due to dangerous ice conditions, slippery banks and swift moving water.
