Monte McNaughton isn’t mincing words when it comes to the issue of wind turbines and local well water.
The Conservative MPP says the government is showing complete arrogance and disregard for residents of Chatham-Kent by not properly testing contaminated well water, and allowing construction of the North Kent Wind project to continue.
McNaughton says independent results have shown the water to be turbid and undrinkable, caused by the installation of turbines, and it’s time for the province to step up.
Meantime Water Wells First protesters are preparing to spend a third day in front of a Bush Line turbine site, blocking access to construction crews.
