Murder Suspect Arrested Again While Out On Bail

A woman facing a first-degree murder charge in connection with a homicide in Chatham has been arrested again for bail violations.

The Windsor Police Service said officers arrested 24-year-old Sky-Linn Holden on Thursday in the area of Pope Street in LaSalle after she allegedly breached her release conditions on three separate occasions.

Holden was first arrested on June 26, 2024, and charged with first-degree murder and indignity to a dead body in connection with the death of 27-year-old Louise Thompson of Milton. Thompson’s body was discovered at a William Street South property in Chatham on June 4, 2024.

Holden was released on bail on December 17, 2024, under enhanced conditions, including house arrest and electronic monitoring.

Two Chatham men, 44-year-old Jeffrey Davis and 59-year-old David Lozon, were also arrested and charged with the same offences in the case. The murder charge against Lozon has since been downgraded to accessory to murder after the fact.

Additionally, a 41-year-old woman, who had acted as Holden’s surety, has also been arrested and charged with three counts of facilitating a breach of a release order.

It is unknown if Holden remains in custody or if she has once again been released on bail.
